Job Description

Position Overview

Medical office seeking an organized individual to manage front desk operations including appointment scheduling, co-payment collection, and patient call responses. This role involves verifying insurance and benefits, managing and reviewing patient records, and performing various administrative tasks across 3 Las Vegas locations. Must be willing to travel as needed. Previous medical office experience and bilingual (Spanish) skills are preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients at the front desk as they sign in.
  • Answer the main office phone line and direct calls appropriately, taking messages as required.
  • Arrange and schedule medical appointments and verify patient eligibility for services.
  • Obtain, update, and file medical records as needed.
  • Organize and review patient records for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Obtain documentation from healthcare providers, including test results.
  • Perform other administrative and clerical duties to support medical care and operations.
  • Conduct end-of-day processes and resolve any pending appointments in the system.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong team player and willing to follow direction.
  • Comfortable handling a heavy phone load in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and managing various responsibilities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous medical office experience.
  • Knowledge of insurance and benefits verification.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
