Job Description
Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Financial Analyst II for their Charlotte, NC/Remote location.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for carrying out functions related to financial analysis. Serves as a point of contact for maintenance and continuing development of the treasury software and related systems. Interacts with key Financial Administration and Patient Financial Services stakeholders to ensure banking activity is reconciled to accounts receivable.
- Applies the principles and practices of financial analysis, as well as account reconciliation.
- Researches and analyzes financial, banking and patient billing data and trends as requested to assist in accurate bank reconciliation and smooth patient billing operations.
- Prepares status and financial reports and provides cross-team multi-facility support for internal customers.
- Conducts and documents financial analysis projects in the department.
- Prepares accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions.
- Ensures completeness, accuracy, and integrity of databases, mappings, and reference tables within the cash application software system.
- Works with Information Systems and software vendor to resolve system issues.
- Manages, updates, and maintains system documentation.
- Assists in educating end users of system features, capabilities, and enhancements as they become available.
- Completes a limited amount of journal entries as necessary when reconciling banking activity.
Requirements:
Work requires sitting at a desk, working on a computer, talking on the telephone, and preparing reports and other statistical data in an office environment. Must be able to stand, walk and travel in personal car to other facilities. Work also requires the carrying of up to 20 pounds of materials (files, projectors, laptops).
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Information Systems required. Minimum 3 years of treasury or financial analyst experience (or an equivalent role) required. Must possess effective analytical and communication skills and a high degree of innovative ability, initiative, and individual judgement.
