Position Overview

Medical Assistant/Scheduling Assistant - Medical Group Gastroenterology (GI) is a full-time role (40 hours per week) based at Location: Swedish Hospital. The position operates on a Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM, with an hourly rate of Salary: $19.89 - $28.84 per hour. Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to the exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and the reason for the office visit
• Perform basic vitals such as blood pressure, height, and weight
• Provide front office support as needed
• Perform phlebotomy and administer injections as required by specialty

Required Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
• Qualifications: CPR certification through the American Heart Association is required.
• Experience Required: One year of work experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program is preferred
• Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred
• Previous experience working in a medical office or related field is preferred
