Job Description
Position Overview
JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract (J-Tech II). For work specific to Colorado Springs, JT4 supports the National Space Test and Training Complex (NSTTC) – Electronic Domain portion of the range.
A Cybersecurity Analyst II performs a variety of cybersecurity tasks to monitor information systems and secure the IT infrastructure. This includes developing and updating system security plans (SSPs), creating plans of action and milestones (POA&Ms), managing system changes, conducting audits, providing incident response and vulnerability assessments, and assessing the security impact of changes. The role is intermediate-level, managing deadlines and offering cybersecurity engineering support for development, sustainment, and operations teams.
Compensation: $88,000 to $140,000 annually. The salary range is a good faith description based on responsibilities, experience, education/training, key skills, internal equity, and market considerations.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and reference reading to obtain technical information.
- Stay informed of approved standards, codes, and procedures applied to cybersecurity specialties.
- Perform systems engineering activities in cybersecurity, Information Assurance (IA), System Security Engineering (SSE), and security assessment and authorization (A&A) per NIST SP 800-53 RMF.
- Apply risk management concepts to mitigate vulnerabilities in system architectures.
- Interface with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM), program managers, system stakeholders, and external contractors to coordinate cybersecurity requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, correspondence, or technical studies.
- Perform other job-related duties, as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer/Information Technology/Information Assurance focused on cybersecurity or equivalent academic/technical training.
- Three or more years of experience in computer systems security or related areas.
- Compliance with or ability to become compliant to DoD 8570.01-M, IAT/Level II requirements.
- Possession of a Security+ certification (or completion within the designated timeframe) and one of the following: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP.
- Conceptual knowledge of the RMF process and familiarity with tools such as eMASS, ACAS, SCAP, and STIG.
- Robust conceptual and practical understanding of IT infrastructure designs, technologies, products, and services.
- Experience supporting various system configurations including standalone systems, LANs, and WANs.
- Ability to formulate and interpret cyber threat analyses regarding adversary tactics and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical ability, sound judgment, and the capability to work effectively with both customers and team members.
- Ability to plan, organize, and meet strict deadlines.
- Experience with planning, designing, executing, and assessing discussion-based exercises.
Preferred Qualifications
