Job Description
Position Overview
Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is seeking an Entry Level Quality Engineer in Miami, FL. In this role, you will act as the customer liaison ensuring compliance with quality requirements and customer satisfaction. You will monitor and track customer quality data, execute root cause corrective actions (RCCA), verify their implementation, and support both internal and customer audits. A basic understanding of the 8D process and the ability to read and interpret drawing specifications is required. You will also contribute to continual improvement efforts and assist with technical documentation including quality plans, sampling plans, and inspection procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the customer liaison for compliance with customer quality requirements and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and track customer quality data.
- Execute root cause corrective actions (RCCA) and verify the implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure RCCAs meet internal and customer requirements.
- Monitor and report on customer scorecards.
- Support continual improvement efforts both internally and externally.
- Initiate purges and ensure containment actions are taken within 48 hours.
- Assist in writing and reviewing technical and performance specifications, quality plans, sampling plans, and inspection procedures.
- Support compliance with Quality Management System procedures.
- Assist in internal and customer audits.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously as needed.
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills to sustain business relationships.
- Be resourceful in seeking answers and guidance for complex problems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field of study.
- At least 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of formal education and on‐the‐job training.
- Understanding of the concept of root cause corrective actions (RCCA).
- Intermediate or higher proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel).
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP experience.
- Six Sigma certification.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations.
