Position Overview
Join us for the opportunity to intern with the ABC Entertainment, Hulu Originals & Onyx Collective Casting team! We are responsible for overseeing the casting process for all scripted and unscripted primetime television shows. This internship offers a hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic TV network environment. The approximate dates of the internship are June 2026 through December 2026, reporting directly to the Manager of Casting. A cover letter indicating your interest in the position is required.
Location: Burbank, CA, USA
Key Responsibilities
- Analyzing scripts to identify casting opportunities and create breakdowns.
- Supporting various talent initiatives such as Actor Audition Workshops and the Disney Television Discovers: Talent Showcase.
- Assisting with light scheduling, updating lists and casting databases, and general office support.
- Collaborating with assistants to maintain social media accounts.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- High attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with both Mac and PC operating systems.
- A strong interest in Television and the Entertainment Industry.
- Ability to identify and champion emerging talent to contribute to authentic and inclusive television content.
- Collaboration skills and adaptability to work with diverse personalities across multiple platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Canva.
- Experience with Casting Programs (Qwire, Cast It, Breakdown Express, etc.).
- Previous administration experience.
Benefits & Perks
- Salary: $22.50 per hour
- Compensation: Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, including medical, financial, and other benefits.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm PT, 40 hours per week
- Education: Senior year preferred
