Job Description

Position Overview

Coupang is revolutionizing commerce, blending a dynamic startup culture with the resources of a large global company. We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our Global eCommerce FP&A team in Seattle. In this role, you will partner closely with U.S. business leaders to deliver actionable financial insights that drive the growth of our 1P and 3P businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive Financial Analysis: Lead all aspects of financial analysis, including developing periodic financial targets, forecast updates, and gap analyses to align with strategic business goals.
  • Financial Planning: Establish and maintain annual, quarterly, and monthly financial targets through close collaboration with business leaders.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain timely financial forecasts and serve as the primary finance liaison for the U.S. business, ensuring effective communication with Corporate FP&A and Global HQ.
  • Performance Analysis & Business Insights: Conduct end-to-end analysis of business performance, identify variances, uncover root causes, and implement data-backed solutions.
  • Reporting Automation & BI Tools: Drive the development and enhancement of automated reporting tools using business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent internal tools.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis within a fast-paced work environment.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing financial models as well as creating effective financial processes and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong partnerships with business and financial leaders.
  • Strong MS-Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) skills along with hands-on experience with Netsuite.
  • Experience with SQL queries; familiarity with Tableau and Power BI is an advantage.

Benefits & Perks

Compensation: The base pay for this position ranges from $83,000/year to $154,000/year, depending on market location, relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, Other Compensation such as bonuses, equity, or other forms of incentive may be offered.
