Position Overview

Benefits Analyst (Hybrid) Entry Level – Join NFP, an Aon company and multiple Best Places to Work award winner in Business Insurance. In this full‑time role on a newly formed Analyst team, you will support Totalis Benefits and their clients by assisting with the marketing and client service process, preparing presentations and analysis, and building relationships with broker partners and carriers. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Request for Proposal Process by gathering required marketing materials from broker partners, preparing RFPs using tools such as Excel, and collaborating with carriers on quotes.
  • Organize data into marketing analysis format and provide broker partners with recommendation driven by RFP analysis.
  • Ensure all client data is entered into systems promptly and that documents are stored properly.
  • Understand, interpret, and articulate carrier and vendor responses to broker partners.
  • Develop effective relationships with broker partners and carrier contacts, and deliver sold case notices when coverage moves or sells.

Required Qualifications

  • Familiarity with ancillary benefit plan designs, contracts, carrier offerings, benefits marketplaces, and current industry trends is a plus.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and effective time management and decision-making abilities.
  • Comfortable learning and using new technologies and systems, with expert-level Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills along with diligent follow-up abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree and internship experience OR a high school diploma with at least 4 years of direct group benefits experience.
  • Experience in Excel utilizing advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong interest in employee benefits and the insurance industry.
