Facilities and warehouse associate

Position Overview

Residential Solar and Roofing Company is seeking an effective Facilities Technician. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the facilities while also assisting in the warehouse by completing inventory counts, receiving equipment from distributors, and staging equipment for next-day installation. Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour. Job Type: Full-time. Work Location: In person.

Key Responsibilities

• Empty trash on a daily basis
• Ensure bathrooms are stocked with supplies
• Perform daily sweeping, parking-lot upkeep, and overall building maintenance
• Clean office windows weekly
• Wipe down surfaces
• Replace ceiling lights as needed
• Help prep solar material for installation crews for the next day
• Receive material when delivered to the warehouse
• Ship out unused material
• Assist in completing the monthly inventory of all material in the warehouse
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor

Required Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• General building maintenance knowledge
• Computer literate
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic math skills
• 1 year experience in a Solar Warehouse environment

Preferred Qualifications

• High school or equivalent
