Position Overview
Clorox is committed to growth for our people and our brands. In this role as the Category Sales Planning Manager – Food for the Food Category & Hidden Valley Ranch brand, you will be responsible for developing and deploying a cross‐channel business plan. You will work closely with the Category Sales Planning Director, Associate Director, and the 3D Planning team to influence the development of an 18‐month Category Plan. Location: Oakland, CA; this role follows our Hybrid 2.0 policy with an in‐office requirement 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the Business: Own the cross‐channel business plan for the category/brand and advocate for assigned customers (30%).
- Category Planning: Recommend an integrated customer plan and support the Food BU business plan release with the 3D Planning team (30%).
- Build Capability to Drive Growth and Eliminate Waste: Deploy tools, processes, and resources to support the organization (20%).
- Engage our People as Business Owners: Coach, develop, and empower team members while building individual capabilities (20%).
Required Qualifications
- Strong category knowledge and analytics
- Consultative/solution selling skills
- Experience in category business planning and insights
- Understanding of key Clorox processes
Benefits & Perks
- Salary: Zone A: $128,000 - $252,200; Zone B: $117,400 - $231,200; Zone C: $106,700 - $210,200. Actual pay will be determined based on relevant skills, knowledge, experience, and location.
