Position Overview
Rains Birchard Marketing is seeking a talented graphic designer to join our team in a full‑time, remote capacity. Our creative marketing firm focuses on B2B projects for industries such as manufacturing, financial services, and commercial vehicles. We value long-term client relationships and expect our team members to be creative, detail‑oriented self‑starters adept in Adobe’s suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) as well as Canva, Wordpress, and basic HTML/CSS.
Key Responsibilities
- Create concepts based on project requirements
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Collaborate with agency staff and project managers
- Adhere to client-specific brand design guidelines
- Manage revisions and version control
- Work with the creative director to produce final designs
- Prep final files for production, publication, etc.
- Solve creative challenges with innovative ideas
Required Qualifications
- Proven graphic/web design experience (minimum 5 years)
- A portfolio showcasing your work
- Based in Oregon or SW Washington / US Citizen
- Proficient in Adobe design software (InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
- Experienced in web design with Wordpress
- Competence with Google’s G‑Suite
- Solid communication skills with mastery of the English language
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Dedicated workspace with a capable computer (Mac or PC) and high-speed internet
- Availability during West Coast office hours (8:30am - 5pm PST)
- Willingness to sign non‑disclosure and non‑compete agreements
- Occasional travel for client or company meetings and trade shows
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe After Effects and/or Adobe Premiere for video editing
- Cinema 4D experience
- Copywriting ability
- Project management skills from start to completion of projects
