Position Overview
Machine Solutions provides manufacturing and testing equipment for catheter and medical device manufacturers. Vante, a division of Machine Solutions, offers innovative production equipment and a wide range of solutions for medical device manufacturing. The role involves testing and repairing electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. Responsibilities range from creating electrical test fixtures and developing test plans to writing test reports and troubleshooting at the component level.
Compensation: $79,884.00 - $119,638.71 per year. Job Type: Full-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Meets all the requirements of an Electrical Engineer II
- Has 5-7 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering with a focus on RF-enabled devices and control system software
- Serves as a subject matter expert in electrical systems and control software
- Leads cross-functional teams in the design, development, and validation of new products
- Identifies opportunities for innovation and process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
- Mentors and develops junior electrical engineers by providing guidance on complex technical challenges
- Collaborates with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical, mechanical, and software components
- Participates in the development of strategic plans and road maps for the electrical engineering function
- Demonstrates exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
- Reviews existing products, suggests improvements, and implements changes to reduce costs and improve quality
- Travels as needed (up to 10%)
- Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior electrical engineers
- May lead medium to large sized projects or initiatives, including ad-hoc projects as needed
- Mentors junior engineers in the proper usage of GMPs and quality procedures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) in electrical engineering or equivalent; or three to five years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, schematics, and assembly drawings
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills

- 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering
