Position Overview
Ralph Lauren is seeking a Sustainability Manager for the Supply Chain in the Americas, based in New York, NY. In this role, you will drive sustainability initiatives within the manufacturing supply chain, aligning suppliers with established sustainability standards and engaging in capability-building activities. You will serve as a regional sustainability expert, collaborating closely with sourcing teams and leadership to enhance supplier performance across environmental impact areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide sustainability subject matter expertise for in-region Higg FEM performance improvement, ZDHC implementation, and other programs covering energy, GHG, water, wastes, and chemicals impact areas.
- Manage and drive post-assessment supplier engagement in partnership with the regional Sourcing team and leadership to deliver measurable sustainability improvements.
- Deliver individual or group follow-ups, site visits, trainings, webinars, and on-site/off-site capability building initiatives for Americas suppliers.
- Engage with cross-functional teams, regional Sourcing leadership, suppliers, and external partners to integrate and advance sustainability goals.
- Monitor supplier sustainability performance through direct data collection, internal and industry tools, and supplier scorecards.
- Identify and implement in-region supplier capability building opportunities, partnering with global Sustainability and Sourcing teams.
Required Qualifications
- Solid experience in apparel, textile, and leather supply chain/manufacturing sustainability.
- Strong understanding and passion for environmental sustainability issues with expertise in energy, GHG, water, wastes, and chemicals impact areas.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in environmental science, industrial engineering, chemistry, sustainable development, or energy management.
- Experience working in a global, diverse, and dynamic, cross-functional environment.
- Exceptional collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
- Established network of industry stakeholders in the region.
- Fluency in Spanish (verbal and written) and strong proficiency in English.
- Advanced experience with MS Office applications.

- Compensation: Salary range of $62,500 to $146,000 annually, dependent on experience and geographic location.
