Job Description

Position Overview

Arcadis is seeking a Project Civil Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team within the North America Places group focusing on land/site development projects. In this hybrid role, whether you’re a licensed PE or an EIT ready to take the next step, you will work on dynamic projects that shape communities – from hospitals and airports to residential neighborhoods and educational campuses. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare site development plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software
  • Design grading, drainage, stormwater systems, and utility layouts
  • Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies
  • Prepare cost estimates, schedules, and project documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Experience Required: 3 or more years working in land development or site civil projects
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant national/state standards and codes of practice
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D, stormwater modeling, and related tools
  • Strong knowledge of zoning, permitting, and regulatory processes
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Commitment to health and safety

Preferred Qualifications

  • Qualifications: EIT or PE certification preferred

  • Salary: $68,187 to $112,000 per year
