Medical Assistant/LPN/EMT or Visit Facilitator (Women's Health Specialty Clinic)

Position Overview

The Women's Health Specialty Clinic at M Physicians offers comprehensive care to women and people with uteruses of all ages. Located on the University of Minnesota Medical Center campus – West Bank, our clinic integrates primary care, OBGYN, urogynecology, and mental health services in a unique, woman-centered environment. Our expert providers, who also serve as University of Minnesota faculty, focus on the whole person, ensuring you receive the most appropriate therapeutic approaches toward achieving optimal health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Support providers and patients during clinic visits by monitoring schedules, greeting and guiding patients to their examination rooms, and collecting pertinent medical information for health records.
• Coordinate and communicate with the health care team – including nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and physicians – to ensure an outstanding patient experience.
• Depending on your certification or license, assist with minor in-office procedures, administer injections and immunizations, and perform laboratory/sample collections.

Required Qualifications

• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): NREMT & MN EMT certification required.
• Medical Assistant (MA): Must possess a Medical Assistant Diploma with a 160-hour externship completion OR hold AAMA Certification OR have AMT Registration.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Active Minnesota LPN license required.
• Visit Facilitator: A high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of customer service experience are required if certification or license is not held.

• Hours: .8 FTE, 32 hours per week
• Sign-On Bonus: Bonus may be available to qualified applicants
