Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of complex electrical systems and components.
  • Create detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and system specifications.
  • Perform circuit analysis, simulation, and modeling using industry-standard tools.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for hardware validation and verification.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design issues and system malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration.
  • Specify electrical components and work with suppliers to ensure quality and availability.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., UL, CE, FCC).
  • Prepare technical documentation, including design reports, test results, and user manuals.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in electrical systems design and development.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD).
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and microcontrollers.
  • Experience with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink).
  • Familiarity with embedded systems development and firmware integration.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, project-driven environment.
  • Experience in (specific industry relevant to the fictional client, e.g., automotive, aerospace, medical devices) is a plus.
