Key Responsibilities

• Supporting various aspects of our accounting and reporting process.
• End-to-end process ownership to support finance and business partners.
• Understanding internal control design concepts to assess the effectiveness of controls and design new processes for emerging business activities.
• Executing judgments to keep projects moving and ensuring the right decisions are reached to close the books each month.
• Escalating risks and issues to leadership when necessary.
• Exhibiting a strong sense of ownership.
• Identifying process improvement and automation opportunities to drive positive change.
• Leading the delivery of accounting tasks and projects.
• Enhancing partnerships between Accounting and various business and IT groups.
• Researching, concluding, and memorializing technical accounting position papers.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in finance or a related analytical field.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA
• Knowledge of internal control frameworks such as COSO for assessing control design and operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with GAAP research tools and the FASB codification.
• Experience in accounting management within Big Four firms serving Fortune 500 clients.
• Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions.
