Position Overview

As an Electrical Engineer at ENERCON, you will join a collaborative and innovative team dedicated to evaluating and designing power systems for power‐generating facilities. Ideal for early-career professionals (1–3 years of experience), this role offers the opportunity to expand your technical expertise in a dynamic environment. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, managing assignments with minimal supervision while ensuring code-compliant deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and design power systems for power‐generating facilities.
  • Manage assignments by balancing budget, scope, schedule, and quality, and deliver precise engineering documents.
  • Develop drawings, calculations, and technical evaluations that adhere to industry codes, standards, and safety practices—especially in the nuclear sector.
  • Build strong client relationships through clear communication and professional collaboration, including on-site plant walk-downs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Available to start within 1–2 months and ready to contribute immediately.
  • Solid foundation in core electrical engineering concepts with proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in teams.
  • Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, navigate client sites, and work outdoors as needed.
  • Willingness to travel for client projects and meetings; note that U.S. citizenship may be required for certain federal contracts.
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, background checks, and annual motor vehicle record checks.
