Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee field engineering tasks including operation planning, cost control, project scheduling, quantity tracking, material procurement, contract administration, estimating, and supervision of field activities.
  • Perform engineering tasks using standard techniques and resolve minor technical issues during construction.
  • Maintain records regarding job progress, costs, material usage, and other relevant data.
  • Plan and schedule entire jobs or job segments.
  • Investigate problems or reported incidents and recommend solutions or alternatives as appropriate.
  • Review plans and specifications to determine material requirements, including quantities, qualities, and pricing.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to facilitate material handling and expedite delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in construction management, construction engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, engineering technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum overall GPA of 2.7.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must be able to access all points of a construction site in diverse climates and environments.
  • Highly motivated with a demonstrated passion for excellence and initiative.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to doing the job right the first time.
