Position Overview
Join our LAZ family as a Part-Time Customer Service Representative! Are you a team player who likes to have fun while you work, enjoys meeting people, and sparking conversations? We are an employee-first company that cares about you and your ideas. In this role, you will greet and create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and clients. Compensation: $12/hr, Schedule: Part-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patrons as they enter and exit locations; remain attentive to daily traffic patterns.
- Be responsive and timely with problem resolution while displaying a caring attitude and developing rapport with customers.
- Assist customers in lobbies and lanes; direct traffic safely when needed.
- Manage and communicate issues at kiosks and pay stations, providing clear details including device name and location.
- Promote premier customer satisfaction through a friendly demeanor and can-do attitude.
- Submit reports of maintenance issues and take ownership of the location and equipment appearance.
- Collaborate with the team by communicating issues and needs in a timely, consistent, and professional manner.
- Complete all required documentation for hours worked and other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Experience Required: Strong customer service experience.
- You are charismatic, full of energy, and happy to assist patrons within set guidelines.
- Responsible – you never disappoint because it is not in your nature.
- Able to perform well under pressure and work with or without supervision.
- Capable of communicating professionally and effectively while remaining open to feedback and differing opinions.
- Demonstrates timeliness, a sense of urgency, and excellent teambuilding and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to be flexible, learn, and work at various facility locations.
- Ability to handle challenging and sometimes emotionally charged situations.
- Proficient in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehending the English language.
- Dependable, reliable, and accountable for all actions and/or non-actions, including handling and returning company equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualifications: Cash handling experience is preferred.
- Qualifications: Parking industry experience is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
