Job Description

Position Overview

The Jeweler will service and repair clients' jewelry while providing excellent quality and turnaround time, following all posted processes to bring damaged jewelry up to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safe accountability of various gemstones, diamonds, metal used in repairs and customers' jewelry.
  • Perform 20 repairs per day to meet goals and objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in jewelry repairs.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in sizing, chain repair, prong and stone setting repairs, stone tightening, shank work, all types of stone setting, and polishing or other finishing techniques.
  • Must have laser welding experience.
  • Must have experience using a microscope.
  • Must be able to read and understand repair instructions.
  • Must be willing to train and share knowledge.
  • Must be organized and able to communicate with others.
  • Must pass a bench test.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of invisible set repairs, a plus.
  • Production experience, a plus.
  • Experience in laser engraving, a plus.
