IT Job Training Program

Position Overview

Year Up United is an intensive, one-year (or less) job training program designed for young adults. The program offers in-classroom technical and professional skill development, personalized coaching and mentorship, and access to internships and job placement services. Participants benefit from hands-on training and real-world internship opportunities with industry-leading organizations in the Austin area.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate actively in in-classroom training and in-depth technical classes such as IT Support, Application Development, and Project Management.
• Engage in personalized coaching, mentorship, and career placement support.
• Take advantage of internship opportunities with leading organizations including Amazon, Dell Technologies, Merck, and The University of Texas System.
• Commit to completing program requirements and leveraging newly acquired skills to launch your professional career.

Required Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or GED recipient
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Schedule: Available Monday-Friday throughout the duration of the program
• Highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills
• Must not have already obtained a Bachelor’s degree
• May be required to answer additional screening questions during the application process
