Our outsourcing practice plays an integral role in growing our accounting services across the country by managing back-office functions, such as recording and reporting transactions, month/quarter/year-end close, and financial and management reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Perform back-office accounting functions, including recording and reporting transactions.
- Manage month/quarter/year-end closing processes.
- Prepare financial and management reports.
- Collaborate across multiple clients and industries to deliver superior client service that meets Embark’s high standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in accounting or business.
- 6+ years of experience in corporate accounting environments within the oil & gas industry, with a focus on E&P/upstream companies.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and oil & gas processes, including revenue, joint interest billing, and AP.
- Revenue accounting (operated) experience is a plus.
- Experience working with multiple accounting systems (OGsys, Quorum on Demand, Wolfepak, Enertia, BOLO, Excalibur).
- Proven experience in managing accounting teams/staff.
- Keen attention to detail and strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- High sense of urgency, strong initiative, and the ability to juggle multiple projects and clients.
