Job Description

Position Overview

CJ Logistics is seeking a motivated Warehouse Lead to drive daily warehouse operations in a fast‑paced, team‑first environment at a global logistics powerhouse. In this role you will lead and manage warehouse associates, ensure safe operations, and drive continuous improvement. Please note that CJ Logistics Americas is unable to offer visa sponsorship or support for work authorization. Compensation: $24.92 per hour + $0.50 shift differential with a $1,000 sign‑on bonus (paid half at 6‑months and remaining at 12‑months) and a schedule of Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate stand‑up forklifts to keep orders moving and customers happy.
  • Handle products with care.
  • Assign daily tasks to Warehouse Associates and Forklift Operators.
  • Coach and mentor team members with on‑the‑job training.
  • Assist in scheduling, planning, and day‑to‑day operational flow.
  • Conduct policy/procedure audits in the warehouse and trailers.
  • Help resolve conflicts, promote a positive work environment, and drive team performance.
  • Coordinate with the Warehouse Trainer to ensure skill certification and growth.
  • Lead by example, especially during shift transitions and high‑demand periods.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize operations.
  • Execute additional responsibilities within your training and expertise.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of warehouse or logistics experience.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs safely and consistently.
  • Strong coaching and training skills for team members.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership communication skills.
  • Proven confidence in handling work assignments, delegation, and shift leadership.
  • Experience resolving employee issues professionally and constructively.
  • Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and Allergen protocols.
  • A dependable team player with a positive work ethic.
  • Willingness to complete or obtain training in Guided Leadership, Safety & Compliance, Conflict Resolution, and Employment Law & First Responder protocols.
