SEO On-line Marketing Specialist Intern/Volunteer - Part-time

Position Overview

Felix is a luxury lifestyle magazine currently serving Chicago, Los Angeles and New York. The glossy publication covers the latest trends in fashion, fine dining, nightlife, arts and culture. Luxe Media, LLC and Felix Magazine are the marketing names of The Aparecio Foundation, NFP (“TAF”), committed to creating a fun and productive work culture. This opportunity is an unpaid internship/volunteer where you will work as an SEO Specialist responsible for creating SEO for the company website, monitoring overall search engine performance, and partnering with the Executive Creative Director/Founder and marketing team to implement effective search strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and ensure search engine optimization of company websites and online marketing content.
• Conduct keyword research using various tools to inform design, content, and coding practices.
• Proactively identify opportunities to increase traffic through online search methods.
• Support and implement SEO best practices and advise the future direction of company SEO.
• Perform the SEO and related projects assigned.

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA in Information/Computer Science or related fields is required.
• Strong working knowledge of SEO, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.
• Clear understanding of affiliate marketing and pay-per-click advertising.
• Knowledge and experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/AJAX coding practices.
• 3-5 years of SEO working experience preferred.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
