Job Description
Position Overview
Connexion’s mission is to provide "best in class" services to job seekers. As a Bottling Technician for the BMIA group, you will be responsible for filling, capping, labeling, completing batch records, and putting away Finished Good Inventory (FGI). You will also handle kit assembly and product pouching. Work schedule is M-F, 7am-3:30p. This role involves collaborating closely with various departments including LEGENDplex, ELISA, Planning, Receiving, Inventory Control, Custom Solution Team (CST), Packaging, MCI, and Quality Control.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all BSL2 safety policies, correct procedures, dress code, and health/safety guidelines.
- Follow line clearance policies to avoid cross contamination, mix-ups, or incorrect items bottled.
- Perform kit assembly and product pouching processes.
- Execute various bottling related tasks including dispensing antibody solutions, capping, and labeling of vials, tubes, or bottles.
- Verify materials and documents to ensure details such as concentrations and lot numbers are correct.
- Perform simple Math calculations as required.
- Put away finished good products in their designated temperature conditions.
- Utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Excel.
- Set up and prepare equipment for ongoing operations.
- Operate computer-controlled process equipment (e.g., filling line, lyophilizer, capping/labeling machines).
- Follow SOP instructions accurately for all job tasks.
- Clean and maintain work areas and lab equipment, adhering to 5S guidelines.
- Maintain accurate training records and complete all required training documents on time.
- Comply with all GDP policies.
- Perform additional projects or responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or some college
- At least 6 months of experience in a laboratory, biotech manufacturing, or a filling/bottling/packaging environment
