Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst

Position Overview

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst solves complex business problems using data from both internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. In this role, you will be tasked with evaluating situations or data that require an in-depth investigation of variable factors. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Key Responsibilities

• Describe and utilize tools, technologies, applications, and practices to collect, integrate, analyze, and present data.
• Influence departmental strategy through actionable insights derived from data.
• Make decisions on technical approaches for various project components in moderately complex to complex scenarios.
• Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of technical experience in data analysis OR Master's degree and 3 or more years of experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Advanced skills in SQL, SAS, Python, PySpark, and other data systems
• Experience with big and complex data sets within large organizations
• Ability to analyze data to create data visualizations that drive strategic direction
• Proficiency in understanding Healthcare-related data
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for senior and executive leadership
• A passion for contributing to an organization dedicated to continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field)
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, SAS, PySpark, and other data systems
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Qlik
• Expertise in data mining, forecasting, simulation, and/or predictive modeling
• Experience in creating analytics solutions for various healthcare sectors
