Position Overview

You should be highly accurate, independent yet a strong team player with a keen attention to detail. Compensation: $35.00/hr - $45.00/hr. Location: Bakersfield, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform historical well file research and accurate mechanical data input.
• Work both independently and collaboratively to ensure consistent quality.
• Quickly learn new systems and software, including AI-driven applications.
• Assist with special projects and data analysis as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of related Oil & Gas experience.
• Knowledge of Well View, Open Wells, or Well Shadow including associated terminology and procedures.
• Experience creating and auditing wellbore diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to create and audit wellbore diagrams.
• Experience in researching, gathering, inputting, and quality controlling well file data.
• Experience with wellbore diagram creation for AOR/UIC and related projects.
• Understanding of well history, drilling, completion, and abandonment processes.
• Familiarity with data in drilling, completion, and workover reports.
• Experience preparing Notice of Intent reports and well history packages for abandoned wells.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of pertinent industry codes and standards.
• General utility and Oil & Gas industry knowledge and/or field experience.
• Passion for delivering excellence to both internal and external customers.
