Network Infrastructure Engineer (12 Months Onsite Contract) – Sacramento, CA

Job Summary

TSG is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Infrastructure Engineer for a 12-month onsite contract in Sacramento, CA. You will assess the current network topology to ensure it is optimized for performance and scalability. Review redundancy and failover mechanisms to ensure they are adequate and protected. You must reside within driving distance of Sacramento, CA region. You will provide the following. No 3rd party recruiter or agency please.

Duties

• Design engineering development; integration and interface design analysis; conduct topology review for optimizing performance and scalability and evaluating the segmentation of networks to ensure that critical systems are isolated and protected
• Review redundancy and failover mechanism to ensure they are adequate for maintaining network availability.
• Conduct comprehensive network performance evaluations and diagnostic testing to identify and resolve connectivity issues.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and perform network security audits utilizing tools like Splunk, SolarWinds, and SolarWinds to identify threats and mitigate risks proactively.
• Drive continuous process improvement by leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of standardized tools, templates, and processes across the enterprise.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to seamlessly integrate network operations within broader system architectures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree: 10+ years of experience with Network Infrastructure experience and professional industry certification Preferred
• You must reside within driving distance of Sacramento, CA region. You will provide the following. Position requires candidate to work on-site at the client's worksite.
