As an Entry-level Civil Design Engineer, you'll join our emerging civil engineering firm focusing on renewable energy and infrastructure projects across the US. Under the guidance of experienced engineers, you'll gain exposure to solar and battery storage projects. Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Under supervision, complete civil engineering designs including construction plans, specifications, technical calculations, exhibits, and reports.
- Utilize Civil 3D features such as alignments, profiles, and grading to produce engineered construction plans and sheet setups.
- Apply a basic understanding of site grading, storm drainage, erosion and sediment control, and storm water best management practices while demonstrating a strong desire to learn and grow in civil engineering design.
- Exhibit exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent Engineering degree.
- EIT preferred.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2D CAD – Intermediate proficiency.
- Civil 3D CAD – Novice level; capable of creating basic alignments and existing profiles.
- Familiarity with Google Earth, Microsoft Suite, and AutoTURN.
