Job Summary of Warehouse Distribution associate:

As a Warehouse Distribution associate at Floor & Decor, you are the backbone of our retail location. Your key responsibilities will be compiling orders and replenishing and moving merchandise, whether it be on the sales floor or to a customer's vehicle. Your day will be spent checking inventory and orders, interacting with customers and operating a forklift. If you are friendly, organized, hard-working and someone who thrives in a warehouse environment, Floor & Decor is the place for you. Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available.

Responsibilities of Warehouse Distribution associate:

• Illustrate aptitude in understanding and following the safety measures of the organization. Carry out tasks with precision in a fast-paced work environment.
• Set a high bar for customer service by consistently exceeding expectations and providing exceptional support to customers.
• Adhere to the guiding values of the company in both your conduct and job performance.
• Refill our show floor with fresh inventory.
• Organize merchandise to meet company standards and offer customers a pleasant and efficient shopping experience.
• Offer customers the right goods to meet their requirements.
• Assisting customers with product inquiries and locating items they are looking for.
• Be ready to lend a hand in different departments of the store as necessary. Maintain the cleanliness and safety of your work area.

Requirements of Warehouse Distribution associate:

• Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to participate.
• Competence in basic math aptitude.
• Warehouse experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Having worked with heavy machinery, forklifts, or farm equipment before is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and perform well under pressure. Successful completion of forklift certifications through F&D.
• Certification to use heavy equipment in states where it is allowed requires individuals to pass a drug test as part of the process.

Working Conditions of Warehouse Distribution associate:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.

Physical/Sensory Requirements of Warehouse Distribution associate:

• Ability to manipulate objects by consistently exerting up to 20 pounds of force, frequently applying 20-30 pounds, and occasionally exerting 30-60 pounds while lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving them.
• Employees are typically expected to use their hands and fingers to touch or handle items.
• The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
