Position Overview
Nashville Toyota North in Nashville, TN is seeking a full-time Mechanical Tech - Automotive Technician. In this entry-level role you will learn, diagnose, and repair vehicles to ensure “fix it right the first time.” You’ll join an established team committed to excellent customer service and professional growth. Nashville Toyota North proudly serves the Middle Tennessee area with a wide selection of vehicles and top-notch service both in the showroom and service department.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, diagnose, and repair customers’ vehicles as assigned by the designated shop representative.
- Perform auto repair work in compliance with safety standards and published procedures.
- Communicate additional service needs and upsell additional work per customer requests, ensuring the best interest of the customer.
- Provide administrative assistance with warranty repair orders and maintain an inventory of mechanical tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and return customer vehicles in pristine condition.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Toyota experience.
- Ability to attend factory-sponsored training classes and maintain Toyota certifications.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- A professional attitude and a strong desire to continually learn your craft.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions.
- Understanding of computerized repair and testing equipment.
