Design | Build Project Manager

Crystal Kitchen + Bath is an award-winning kitchen and bath contractor serving the Twin Cities for more than 50 years. We are pleased to offer an opportunity for a Design | Build Project Manager to join our team. Location: Crystal, MN
Schedule: Full-time (on-site)

This role is responsible for owning the construction phase of residential kitchen and bath remodeling projects, from pre-construction handoff through final completion. Projects typically involve mid to high-end residential remodels and require close coordination with in-house designers, subcontractors, vendors, and homeowners.

Key Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day construction execution for residential kitchen and bath remodeling projects.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules, budgets, and documentation using Buildertrend.
• Coordinate and direct subcontractors, installers, and vendors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to plans and specifications.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality standards.
• Serve as the primary client contact during the construction phase, providing proactive updates and managing expectations.
• Review construction plans, specifications, and change orders for accuracy and constructability.
• Resolve field issues, scheduling conflicts, and unforeseen challenges efficiently and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, inspections, and company standards.
• Collaborate closely with in-house designers to ensure design intent is executed accurately in the field.
• Manage project closeout, including punch lists, inspections, and final documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably in residential remodeling.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and jobsite management.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to local job sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Kitchen and bath remodeling experience.
• Experience with construction project management software.
