Position Overview

Graduate Engineer (2026 hire). Network Rail Consulting (NRC), the international consultancy arm of Network Rail, has been delivering consultancy projects globally since 2013. Join our established team in New York City on an exciting career path within Track Engineering/Overhead Catenary Systems (OCS) as part of our Graduate Development Programme. This program prepares graduates over 3 years, integrating practical on‐the‐job experience, networking with senior rail industry leaders, and formal training to develop both technical and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in a comprehensive structured graduate training program offering on‐the‐job learning.
• Undertake up to three structured learning visits to our parent company, Network Rail in the United Kingdom.
• Network and learn from senior rail industry leaders.
• Engage in formal learning and development both in‐house and externally.
• Access mentoring and reverse mentoring programs with further tailored support.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited institution in Civil, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to work well within a team and follow direction from senior staff.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsored work authorization.
