Position Overview

Compensation:$50,000 - $54,000

Epos Now is a cutting-edge cloud-based business operating within the payments and POS space with a global workforce across 8 countries. We are seeking an HR Advisor, a true generalist role accountable for the full spectrum of HR activities and supporting the development of our key people agenda under the Director of People and Culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the team
  • Coordinate team workload and set expectations
  • Manage overall team performance and delivery
  • Recommend and take ownership of operational improvements in line with company objectives and values
  • Ensure accurate data processing and input from the team
  • Deputize for the Head of HR in meetings and other activities, including during holidays and absences
  • Act as a point of escalation for direct reports and field escalations
  • Ensure workforce and succession planning are in place across the business
  • Oversee contract, payroll, and asset aspects of onboarding
  • Coach and support leaders and managers in HR employee relations, ensuring accurate records and adherence to processes
  • Ensure managers are trained and competent in delivering employee relation activities
  • Support managers in executing fair and competent disciplinary, performance, and capability management procedures in line with country-specific legislation
  • Handle ACAS and Tribunal Claims if required
  • Work with managers to reduce absence and unwanted turnover

Required Qualifications

  • SHRM qualification
  • Proven experience as an HR generalist
  • People management experience
  • Experience in managing/overseeing payroll
  • Excellent HR systems experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Experience actively contributing to change and projects
  • A strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices
  • A professional and credible approach to business and HR
  • Passion with a business-first mindset

  • Excellent customer service experience
