Position Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection of inbound materials, ensuring components are 100% accurate per specification and vendor guidelines are strictly followed. Key Responsibilities

  • Validate all components to ensure they are 100% accurate per specification.
  • Ensure vendor guidelines—including labeling, packaging, palletization, dimensional tolerances, and unit quantities—are followed.
  • Complete documentation for all shipments inspected.
  • Maintain records of all inspections and track vendor performance over time.
  • Create, analyze, and provide reports on inspections, audits, and related results to management.
  • Record and provide feedback on all non-conformances to the Quality Manager.
  • Conduct in-process audits at Shed Pack as required based on daily receipts.
  • Organize and plan audit schedules based on incoming shipments.
  • Perform additional duties as needs dictate or as requirements change over time.

Required Qualifications

  • Understanding of WIP/Receiving operations and adherence to procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database management, SAP, WINDCHILL, and PTC CREO for print interpretation.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills—both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize individual work.
  • Professional aptitude for supporting cross-functional activities between departments.
  • Background in quality methodologies, standards, and metrics (QMS, HQMS, DPPM, AQLs, etc.).
  • Expertise in using measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, and other gauges.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when critical timelines or production requirements demand.
  • Ability to walk frequently between warehouse locations and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
