The Talent Acquisition team drives both lateral and campus recruitment, playing a strategic role in growing the organization. As a Jr. Recruiter and Recruiting Coordinator, you will support a full lifecycle recruiting process – from sourcing and assessment to final round logistics – ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
Compensation:The salary range for this role is expected to be$105,000 to $110,000. This may be adjusted based on skills, experience, location, and other organizational needs. Additionally, this job is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of the recruiting process for summer internship hiring across AQR’s business lines.
- Partner with business stakeholders to establish and evolve campus recruiting strategies.
- Meet regularly with business teams during the recruiting season to drive decision-making and offer extensions.
- Handle day-to-day sourcing and assessment of campus candidates and maintain relationships with key career services contacts.
- Organize logistics of recruiting events on college campuses and travel to lead sessions alongside business professionals.
- Assist with various aspects of the summer internship program including training sessions, networking events, and day-to-day management.
- Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience and regular communication with internal clients.
- Compile regular reports and stay informed on recruiting best practices to bring new ideas to the team.
- Assist in ad hoc HR projects and support lateral recruiting searches as needed.
- For recruiting coordinator tasks: Manage logistics for on-site final round superdays, create and post interview schedules, greet candidates, and arrange travel and accommodations.
- Manage candidate reimbursements, recruiting vendor payments, contract submissions, and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with updated candidate information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in campus recruiting within financial services.
- Good judgment, common sense, and self-awareness.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to rapid changes gracefully.
- Efficient work style in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and professionalism.
- Strong prioritization skills with regular client communication throughout the process.
- Capability to take direction and collaborate effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and a high degree of professionalism.
- Drive, motivation, and desire to succeed.
- Flexibility to travel for events as required.
- Prior experience with Greenhouse and Handshake is a plus.
