Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons before, during, and after surgical procedures by preparing necessary equipment.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records throughout the procedure cycle.
• Provide individualized, non-judgmental care to patients, families, and staff.
• Uphold safety and quality standards at all times during surgical operations.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum two years of total surgical tech experience.
• At least one year of relevant experience within the last three years (specific jobs may require more).
• Active certification by NBSTA, NCCT, NBSTSA, NCCSA, or ABSA as applicable; if not certified, a minimum of 10 years of surgical tech experience is required.
• RN degree from an accredited registered nurse program or graduation from an accredited surgical technology program.
• Achieve a score of 80% or higher on all Nomad Health competency exams.
