As part of the Spruce team—a mobile banking app launched in 2022 to simplify financial lives—the Marketing Manager - Spruce Engagement will drive strategy and execution of engagement email journeys, ensuring that our innovative financial solutions resonate with clients. This role collaborates cross-functionally to create impactful, data-driven marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of Spruce engagement email marketing including campaign development, segmentation, automation, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
  • Develop personalized, automated multi-touch email journeys based on customer behavior for onboarding, post-sign up engagement, and reactivation.
  • Regularly analyze performance data to enhance personalization, targeting, and customer journey optimization.
  • Collaborate with agency and internal teams to ensure strategic alignment and high-level awareness of marketing programs.
  • Report insights, observations, and recommendations on campaign performance to Senior Leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM, or related fields. Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Journey Optimizer is a plus.
  • Strong communication and exceptional project management skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Tableau is an advantage.
