Job Description

Position Overview

The Sales Representative for the East Coast reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing at Magnesium Elektron, part of the Luxfer Group – a global leader in high-performance materials. In this role, you will provide sales and technical support to customers in metal engraving environments, identify new sales opportunities, and develop strategies to grow the East Coast territory. Up to 50% travel is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide sales and technical support to customers in metal engraving environments.
  • Identify sales opportunities across a full range of product lines including Graphic Arts and Wrought products.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate Magnesium Elektron products.
  • Explore and develop new markets, products, and customer relationships within the East Coast territory.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute effective sales call strategies to maximize contacts and results.
  • Assist in the planning and forecasting of sales, developing plans to achieve sales goals.
  • Travel up to 50% as needed to meet business objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Energetic and charismatic individual with the drive to engage the territory and develop new accounts.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with decision makers and operational staff.
  • Strong self-discipline with the ability to plan and execute sales strategies autonomously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with SalesForce is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field from a four-year college.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience within the Graphic Arts Industry, Chemical/Milling, or metals/chemical industries.
  • Familiarity with graphic arts, metallurgy, chemistry, etching, embossing, and/or foil stamping.
