Part-Time Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities

• Entry and verification of drug orders into the computer system.
• Supervise technical staff and check final products before dispensing to patients.
• Accept telephone orders from physicians.
• Provide consultation on drug matters to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare personnel.
• Offer clinical services based on approved protocols.
• Supervise and perform final inspections of packaging or manufacturing processes.
• Provide patient training and counseling.
• Perform all activities that a pharmacy technician may perform.
• Execute additional duties as directed by the Director of Pharmacy.

Required Qualifications

• Graduated from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
• Registered pharmacist in good standing under the laws of the State of Illinois.
