Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front Office Manager to lead the welcome experience at a boutique luxury property in Manhattan. This leadership role is pivotal in shaping first impressions, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining seamless front-of-house operations in a refined hospitality environment. The ideal candidate brings a sophisticated presence, strong emotional intelligence, and a passion for delivering world-class service. You will oversee daily operations of the front desk and concierge, coach and inspire a guest-centric team, and uphold the highest standards of discretion, efficiency, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion a culture of elevated hospitality and impeccable service across all touchpoints
  • Supervise front-of-house operations including check-in/check-out, concierge services, and guest relations
  • Ensure the privacy, security, and comfort of all guests and staff
  • Resolve guest issues with grace, urgency, and creativity, maintaining a solutions-first mindset
  • Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing team, setting clear expectations and fostering continuous development
  • Partner with senior management on operational strategies, training, and brand standards
  • Monitor performance metrics and guest feedback to drive improvements and personalize the guest journey

Required Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in luxury hospitality, including 2+ years in a front office leadership role
  • Strong understanding of front desk systems and workflows; Opera or similar PMS experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is advantageous
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays; occasional travel may be required
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus
