Position Overview
The Director of Digital Marketing is responsible for directing and controlling digital marketing strategies that engage and attract customers for HomeTown Services’ family of brands through a unique brand experience while meeting company goals. This role directs all online digital marketing channels and the digital marketing team, ensuring delivery of all assigned digital assets within the creative development process. The Director will support the Chief Marketing Officer and other senior leaders in developing and executing marketing strategy and lead generating initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate team member selection and development, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Lead and direct digital marketing strategies to drive qualified traffic, increase leads, improve ROAS, and enhance customer acquisition across online channels including SEM, paid ads, and website platforms.
- Oversee digital marketing channels to deliver a best-in-class user experience and support overall marketing strategies.
- Evaluate email and digital media channels, produce analysis to measure campaign effectiveness, identify customer behavior trends, and report on ROI & KPIs for marketing initiatives.
- Lead digital media planning and oversee implementation of SEO and SEM initiatives.
- Manage and maintain digital marketing budgets for all brands and negotiate contracts with media and digital platform vendors.
- Contribute to the marketing strategy and strategic planning as a key member of the marketing leadership team.
- Apply forward-thinking ideas on digital trends, innovations, and technologies to build a strong online presence.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments on digital strategy, execution, and web development initiatives, including input on performance measures and quality control processes.
- Lead digital marketing and technology teams to resolve production issues and implement improvements in digital channels.
- Implement and manage tracking and statistical measurement processes for all digital campaigns.
- Foster trusted partnerships with senior leaders to align brand direction and marketing strategies.
- Partner with field marketing to develop localized marketing plans and campaigns targeting customer acquisition, retention, and advocacy.
- Collaborate with business leaders to set priorities, establish marketing goals and budgets, and implement initiatives that support operations in meeting revenue targets.
- Set campaign and program goals, measure performance, and adjust strategies as necessary to meet revenue projections.
- Partner with the call center to communicate ongoing promotions and leverage outbound activity for lead generation.
- Provide recommendations for the annual department budget and resource allocation.
- Work closely with Operations to understand occupancy, revenue, and other key performance indicators.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience managing marketing for multiple locations and brands—with experience in multi-site and/or multi-state regions within the home services industry preferred.
- Prior managerial experience and a servant leadership approach.
- Strong understanding of both traditional and digital marketing channels and best practices.
- Willingness and ability to travel (up to 50%) by auto and plane with overnight stays.
- Ability to work independently in a self-directed manner while also thriving as part of a collaborative team.
