Position Overview

Structural Welder (Pulse Arc) – This Contract role is based in Milwaukee, WI. We are seeking a skilled welder with expertise in Pulse Arc Welding to help build the next generation of the naval fleet, including work on aircraft carriers and submarines. Compensation: $45/hr and $140 in per diem.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform multi-pass, all-position fillet and butt welds using GMAW, FCAW, and GMAW-P processes.
• Utilize Air Carbon Arc Gouging effectively.
• Work in various environments including shipboard and sub-assemblies while adhering to OSHA regulations.
• Use fillet and butt weld gauges accurately.
• Successfully pass all-position, multi-pass butt weld qualification tests per MIL-STD-248D standards.

Required Qualifications

• Four years of welding experience.
• Proficiency in SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GMAW-P welding processes.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and on ladders or staging.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations in the shipbuilding industry.
