Senior Electrical Engineer - Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Create basic to highly complex designs of electric master system plans, power systems, protection and generation models, and facility power systems.
• Perform power system studies, electrical calculations, lighting simulations, and related analyses.
• Develop white papers and technical documentation to support the firm’s Technical Knowledge Management (TKM).
• Conduct site reviews and update design requirements to ensure alignment with location-specific specifications.
• Collaborate with sales staff to prepare proposals in response to client RFPs and ensure compliance with industry and governmental regulations.
• Attend conferences and symposia to enhance the visibility of the firm’s products and services.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior staff, and supervise project work as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related discipline.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience; equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered.
• Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing power systems for water, wastewater, industrial, federal, and transit facilities.
• Experience with medium and low-voltage power distribution systems.
• Familiarity with industry and federal codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, NESC, IEEE, UFC, etc.).
• Proficiency in power system analysis software such as SKM Power Tools for Windows and ETAP.
