Key Responsibilities
- Create basic to highly complex designs of electric master system plans, power systems, protection and generation models, and facility power systems.
- Perform power system studies, electrical calculations, lighting simulations, and related analyses.
- Develop white papers and technical documentation to support the firm’s Technical Knowledge Management (TKM).
- Conduct site reviews and update design requirements to ensure alignment with location-specific specifications.
- Collaborate with sales staff to prepare proposals in response to client RFPs and ensure compliance with industry and governmental regulations.
- Attend conferences and symposia to enhance the visibility of the firm’s products and services.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior staff, and supervise project work as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Minimum 7 years of related experience; equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered.
- Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing power systems for water, wastewater, industrial, federal, and transit facilities.
- Experience with medium and low-voltage power distribution systems.
- Familiarity with industry and federal codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, NESC, IEEE, UFC, etc.).
- Proficiency in power system analysis software such as SKM Power Tools for Windows and ETAP.
