Telecommunications Project Leader Security Clearance

Position Overview

Telecommunications Project Leader with Security Clearance. Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Telecommunications Project Leader to join a design services company for mission critical systems. This position is based in the DC Metro area with job sites throughout Northern VA, DC, and Southern MD. You will run job sites based on your residence to keep the commute reasonable.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the design and deployment of Integrated Infrastructure and telecommunications systems.
• Assisting the project Superintendent and Engineering in the preparation of project documentation requirements, project layout, and field office support.
• Preparing a design/build project estimate based on design criteria.
• Meeting with customers to present proposals and cost estimates.
• Coordinating the acquisition of all materials, and monitoring tools and equipment requirements with the project team and the warehouse.
• Overall financial management of the project(s) including cash flow and manpower needs.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in construction specific to telecommunications.
• Experience creating project schedules with tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Excel.
• Experience in project estimation, including estimating change orders or completing new job takeoffs.
• Strong understanding of Telecommunication Systems including Fiber Optic & Structured Cabling, CCTV, OSP & ISP Copper, along with DAS.
• Experience leading diverse teams and managing projects with construction budgets ranging from $500K to over $10M in Telecommunications Scopes.
