In this role, you will report to our Creative Strategist and support the social brand and community development for Vital Farms. Our mission is to bring ethically produced food to the table, and as part of our team you will help us change the world 108 square feet at a time.
Vital Farms is a Certified B Corp dedicated to sustainable agriculture. With a history rooted in family farming and a commitment to better business practices, we partner with family farms across the nation to produce high-quality, ethically sourced egg and dairy products.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and execute content (photo, video, copy, and graphics) for all social platforms (Instagram, Stories, Reels, IGTV, Threads, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn) daily.
- Understand the brand tone of voice and write social media copy that builds engagement and community.
- Proficiency with video capturing and editing.
- Monitor and curate UGC to be featured across digital ecommerce, social, and print channels.
- Collaborate with the content team to create a broad library of social and video content.
- Support content creation on the Vital Farms Blog (copy, photo, graphics, and more, when needed).
- Manage project tasks and timelines effectively.
- Create actionable plans to grow and maintain social platform followers.
- Partner with communications and brand teams to develop campaigns around major holidays and product launches.
- Evaluate and optimize channel performance using analytics tools such as Dash Hudson, Sprout Social, and Google Analytics.
- Work with agency partners to execute and manage paid social strategies.
- Manage outside partners/contractors for photography, videography, and copy needs by creating shot lists, scheduling shoots, allocating budgets, and mapping content needs for growth.
Required Qualifications
- Experience Required: 1-5 years of relevant experience
- A breadth of knowledge of social platforms and their nuances, including Stories, IGTV, Reels, Live on Instagram; Live and Stories on Facebook; and proficient use of YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
- Familiarity and proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro.
- A strong work ethic with an adaptable spirit for testing and learning.
- Excellent photo and video skills along with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
- Highly organized, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills with a team-player approach and natural curiosity about social media trends.
- Trend forecasting and cool-hunting capabilities to stay ahead of the latest social trends.
