Landscape Designer

Position Overview

Strada, a multi-disciplinary design firm, is seeking a Landscape Designer for our Pittsburgh studio. Our cross-disciplinary approach to design is immersive, human-centric, and diverse, leveraging expertise across our three studios to deliver exceptional results. As a Landscape Designer, you will learn, contribute, and help cultivate your talents as part of our dynamic design team.

Key Responsibilities

• Applying knowledge of the general concepts of landscape design including site analysis, project theming, schematic design, and design development
• Collaborating with the multi-disciplinary project team during the creative design process
• Developing landscape plans and documents for all phases of the project
• Supporting construction administration on projects by creating construction details, attending site visits, and assisting with revisions
• Contributing to the development of client presentation materials
• Prioritizing tasks while responding to changing needs and schedules

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Landscape Architecture from an LAAB-accredited school
• Active interest in diverse project types and design challenges
• Desire to integrate landscapes and architecture, including urban landscapes, public open spaces, campus landscapes, and commercial mixed-use facilities
• Demonstrated passion for design along with unique personal interests that contribute to a creative design culture
