Key Responsibilities
- Independently guide and assist surgeons in the operating room by providing clinical and technical support of orthopedic surgical cases.
- Advance DPS sales by serving as the sole Company representative to provide direct customer support by attending surgeries and ensuring that the proper equipment is available and functioning.
- Troubleshoot and apply independent judgment to respond to physician needs, address customer requests, and effectively handle hospital billing and purchase orders.
- Share key customer, procedural, and marketplace insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams to support sales growth; prepare sales reports and documents as needed.
- Provide consultation to Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department teams.
- Maintain, track, and deploy equipment and assets throughout the assigned area to ensure product availability.
- Ensure all promotional materials are maintained in a presentable manner and that DePuy Synthes services meet the highest quality standards.
- Provide logistical support by moving instruments, implants, and equipment between sales representatives and hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree; or Associate Degree/Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience; or a minimum of 4 years of professional experience; or recent transition from Active Military Duty.
- Ability to travel within the U.S. as necessary (frequent overnight and/or weekend travel required).
- Residence in or ability to relocate to the geographic region assigned by the Company.
- Ability to work in a lab/operating room environment and a valid driver's license issued in the United States.
- Strong interpersonal communication, influencing, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a complex organizational team structure with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret, and communicate in complex environments, with functional knowledge of human anatomy and physiology and basic knowledge of surgery.
Benefits & Perks
- Salary: $54,000.00 - $87,400.00
- Compensation: Eligible for a highly competitive sales incentive program under the applicable plan.
