Role and Responsibilities
This position plays a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency within warehouse operations. It is responsible for monitoring, verifying, and auditing inventory movement, documentation, and overall warehouse processes to maintain high operational standards.
- Audit inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and compliance
- Verify inventory counts, labeling, and storage locations against documentation
- Conduct routine warehouse inspections for safety and policy compliance
- Track discrepancies, report errors, and recommend corrective actions
- Work closely with warehouse teams to resolve inventory issues
- Review shipping and receiving documents for proper processing
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and monitor adherence to SOPs
- Assist in investigating customer complaints and product discrepancies
- Maintain audit logs and prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reports
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on systems and compliance requirements
Required Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent: required; additional education or certifications preferred
- Prior experience: in warehouse operations, inventory management, or auditing strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail: and ability to analyze information accurately
- Proficiency: with WMS, Microsoft Office, and related auditing or inventory systems
- Ability to lift and carry: up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Strong communication skills: to interact with staff, management, and external partners
- Ability to work independently: prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
